The brief
HarperCollins wanted a live tattoo activation tied to a book launch — something editorial, considered, and shareable. Not a gimmick. A station where the flash sheet carried the campaign and guests left with a permanent piece of the story.
What we built
Custom flash designed around the launch creative — illustrations and motifs drawn from the book's visual world rather than generic literary clip art. A full crew handled check-in, waivers, ID verification, and aftercare while artists ran a steady walk-up line through the event.
How the night ran
Guests browsed the sheet, picked a design, and moved through the station without slowing the rest of the programming. The setup matched the room: professional, calm, and clearly part of the launch — not a sideshow.
